Saab is yet to officially unveil their new 2008 9-3 models but that hasn’t stopped some excellent photos of the new 2008 Saab 9-3 convertible appearing on CARSCOOP.
Look beyond the bright lemon yellow paintwork and you will see that the new Saab looks well…very Saab in fact we would describe it as a very mild visual make-over of the previous model. Most of the major change is centered around the front clip and includes a bolder grille/front bar and the distinctive ‘clamshell’ bonnet. We have expressed our approval of Saab’s new slightly more agressive look before and we still like it.
The new rear end is an acquired taste though. There is something not quite right about the clear-lensed high-set tail lights and they can leave those alloys in Stockholm… News on the interior is that it remains largely unchanged over the outgoing model.
So there you go…Saab are obviously hoping that a mild reskin of the exterior and nip and tuck of the interior will get the 9-3 through to the next all-new model. We expect full specifications will become available when Saab officially unveil their new 9-3 in September unless like the photos they are leaked earlier.
